Description

Looking for project manager to help drive a co-creation team to move Women Helping from idea to action.

Women Helping Women is a women-centered, Dayton-based community initiative that engages women to help unleash the potential of women working on their path to personal, professional and/or community success, providing support and inspiration by acting as Allies and Resource Connectors.

As a women-centered initiative, Women Helping Women relationships are non-hierarchical in nature, recognizing that everyone has gifts and talents, and we all can grow and learn from each other.

Women Helping Women operates in three modalities:

  • Supportive: Connect Women Helping Women members with existing organizations to help the organizations maximize the impact they have on the women with whom they are working.
  • Responsive: Address requests to assist individual women that are put out to the Women Helping Women network by partnering organizations.
  • Proactive: When opportunities or gaps are identified, Women Helping Women may start initiatives to meet those needs. These initiatives could be independent or in collaboration with an existing organization.
